In a Nutshell:

We're looking for an Associate Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment while working on complex problems with a talented team— conceptualizing, developing, and implementing applications and features from scratch using the latest technologies.

Once you are here, you will:

Act as a team player.
Take ownership of the teams' execution plans, particularly the tasks assigned to them including an understanding of the bigger picture.
Learn and grow with us, since we expect that your experiences here will still unblock a lot for you.
Execute BAU tasks and be as lean as possible.
Take charge of the need of the time and get all the help from your Manager where required.
Understand that you are in the growth phase and that there's still a lot to learn.
We expect you to take input from the senior members before execution.
Gel with the team and come up with reasonable solutions to the problems, and be responsible for the consequences.
Be the eyes and ears for the senior members of the team and cover their blind spots.
Be agile.
Agility is our choice of process. We will help you master it, you need to be the rightful follower.
Understand that you are pretty new to the game, we have a great team that can help you learn to code as we see it.
Act timely. Time is a scarce resource, hence it is important to make sure the commitments are met on a timely basis.
If something doesn't feel like it is doable, strike a conversation, with your Manager to help you out.
Learn to cultivate leadership skills.
Leadership is what we prepare you for and an interesting fact is that people can be leaders at any stage of life.

Relevant Experience:

Qualification:

Relevant BS degree (e.g Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent programming experience.

Minimum Experience:

Must have executed at least 1 project in any organization in a hands-on fashion. Anything more than that is pretty awesome!

Specific Skills:

As our product has been with us for over a decade, we don't expect everything to be in the right order, we expect from you constructive criticism.
Empathy is something that is expected from you.
Our work culture is pretty agile and knowing how agile teams work would definitely help.
Knowing one or more languages from the set would be very suitable: PHP, JAVA, C#, Swift, JavaScript, Objective-C, Kotlin.
Good communication skills.
