Responsibilities

• Write test cases and plans conforming to the acceptance criteria of features and maintain all test plans and cases with respect to changing requirements

• Perform functional and regression tests

• Log defects into the defect tracking system and perform verification of fixed defects

• Own test and health status of product/projects being worked upon

• Support and coordinate business and QA aspects of software development activities, including requirement analysis and QA of applications

• Indulge in research and development of new tools & technologies by evaluating their usefulness for the business

• Work and participate in agile development team.

• Experience in working on test automation tools (like Selenium, Cucumber, citrus, Test Complete etc)

• Experience in performance testing and tools (like Jmeter, LoadUI etc)

• Experience in REST APIs and web testing across multiple platforms

• Proficient in industry automation frameworks like Junit, TestNG, Xunit or comparable custom built framework

• For agile and ongoing progress (JIRA, Scrum board, confluence)

• Proficient in writing test cases and defect tracking

• Ability to perform effective database testing and integration.

• Ability to aggregate and formulate testing requirements

• Well versed with agile and software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Strong communication skills
