We are looking for a travel agent, who is passionate about traveling. You will manage travel requirements made for business or holiday and you will provide tourism related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers. The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services. Glare communication, a UK based organization, is one of the leading Pan-European companies specializing in worldwide travel. We currently seek professional Customer Service Representatives/Quality assurance who will be corresponding directly with the clients from UK via telephone.
· Responsibilities
o Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services
o Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
o Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc.) to travelers
o Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees
o Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
o Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
o Enter data into our software and maintain client files
o Network with tour operators
o Meet profit and sales targets
· Requirements
o Proven work experience as a travel agent
o Fresh candidates will also apply for this position
o Professionalism, positive approach and be able to work under certain deadlines with target oriented mindset
o Must be a team player with initiative and demonstrated ability to work in a challenging work environment
o Highly motivated, responsible, self-directed, resourceful and flexible
o Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travelling
o Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
o Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
o Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
o Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
o Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
