What you bring:

Experience of developing Android apps in Kotlin or Java
Familiarity with architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM) and the latest frameworks
Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across
Experience with Unit Testing, Test-Driven-Development
Familiarity with a Git SCM environment
Experience of developing REST APIs with Spring Boot
One or more published Android apps
Experience with Mobile Testing frameworks i.e. Appium is a plus but not required
Good communication skills and clean code habits e.g. self-documenting and well commented code

The Global Institute of Human Development (GIHD) is an educational subsidiary Trust of the Human Development Research Foundation and a recognized teaching department of Population Health Sciences of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), Islamabad. Health Applications of Technology team (HAT-team), based at the Global Institute of Human Development (GIHD) is a unique team of health, data, coding and design experts with a special interest in concepts about the health context, technology, and people to improve well-being, health, and healthcare. HAT is focused on providing customized technological solutions for public health and research such as data management systems, website and web application development to non-profit and for profit public health research and service organizations. HAT team works with the team of experienced researchers at GIHD, as well as with national and international mental health specialists. Through these interactions, we have become experienced in matching the needs of intervention developers, those using the technology, and the demand for innovative yet simple and affordable technological solutions that are culturally pappropriate.
