Global Radiance Group of Companies, based in Singapore, is one of the most diversified group of marine services in Singapore and internationally. It specializes in Ship Management, Project Management, Offshore Management & Manpower Management.

Global Radiance Pvt. Ltd. is a group company based in Karachi, Pakistan. It is mainly our shared services center for all our Marine services, consisting of Accounting, Crewing, IT & Technical staff.

Position Overview

The position is responsible to supervise the accounting team based in Karachi and report to in Singapore for periodic reporting deliverables, in line with the company’s accounting and reporting policies and procedures.

Core Roles & Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for:

Management Reporting:

Supervise and lead the team to record, prepare and timely submission of Vessel Management Accounts to CFO on monthly basis.
Liaise with operations department to obtain relevant information in preparation thereof.
Preparation of the periodic accounting reconciliations reports.
Periodic and systematic “ledger cleaning”.

Financial Reporting:

Review of monthly/annual corporate accounts for Tax and Annual returns.

In addition to overseeing periodic accounting activities, he/she will also assist the CFO in:

implementing accounting policies and procedures and internal control; and
give feedback on the task allocation to juniors and optimal resource utilization to ensure timely project completion.

Maximize utility of the Accounting Software and minimize reliance on reports prepared/maintained on MS Excel.
