The Government of Pakistan, under the FBR (Customs), has undertaken a trade facilitation project directed for the establishment of a National Single Window (NSW) with input from legal, commercial, technology and other important areas. For this purpose, a contract has been awarded to a consortium consisting of Sovereign Border Solutions (SBS), Grant Thornton Consulting Pvt. Ltd (GTCPL) and RIAA Barker Gillette (RIAA) for implementation of the main framework.

For this, GTCPL is looking to hire a Project Associate to assist in the design and implementation of the Technology Design Framework of the NSW.

Areas of Responsibility:

Liaise with and be guided by the team lead on various aspects relating to development of a comprehensive Technology Framework for the complete project. For this, inputs from various components of the overall project shall be provided by other ongoing projects, for which the Project Associate shall be responsible for following up with, understanding and incorporating the information in developing the model,
Obtain understanding on the existing technical design of the project based on existing studies carried out and the business process assessment of different entities which are to be incorporated into the Single window.
Facilitate analysis of previously collected primary and secondary data as well as, existing information with respect to the main framework and connected organizations involved with setting up of the National Single Window Technology Framework.
Interact with the government offices as well as the project management office (PMO) at FBR to incorporate information provided by them on the Technical Design of the Project,
Facilitate interaction between the different stakeholders to enable and support the development of the technology framework by the project technology lead.
Get direct involvement in coordination with other project team members and consortium partners.
