Procurement Specialist

Greenovative Solutions is a third generation recycling company in the Plastic Industry. Founded in Montreal, Canada, we also operate a processing facility in California USA. Together, our facilities serve clients across the world in North America, Asia, Europe and Middle East.

Duties include:

Source new Plastic scrap supplies for our processing and trading
Work directly with senior management for product procurement with new and existing suppliers
Communicate with vendors for any new sources according to customer's needs and requests.
Check and follow up quotations on a daily basis, and follow-up phone calls to vendors and potential sources.
Respond to emails, calls, and correspondences related to the supplier
Inform the person in charge of the database of all new supplier sources and changes related to supplier
Scheduling appointments and tours with prospective suppliers
In this role, you will work closely with the Buyers to support procurement functions, aid in administrative tasks, and liaise with all departments within Supply Chain
Other duties as required by the Manager.

Basic Requirements:

Be proficient in English
Have an energetic personality with good communication skills.
Work experience is an asset but not necessary
Need to be proactive and enthusiastic about mining new accounts
Be Proficient with Internet, Google Search, Email, Word, and Excel.
Be detail-oriented and organized, efficient and accurate.
Have a basic purchasing experience, or ability and willingness to learn.
