• To participate in school assemblies, control students and  maintain discipline.
  • To take the attendance of the class. If the student remains absent for more than three days, this absence should must be reported to Vice Principal and make a call to student parents/guardian.
  • To plan, prepare and deliver lessons to all students in the class.
  • To teach according to the lesson plan, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students.
  • To assign work, correct and mark work carried out by his/her students.
  • To assess record and report on the development, progress, attainment and behaviour of one’s students.
  • Responsible of whole class management that is i.e. decoration, week plan and time table etc
  • To provide or contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students or groups of students.
  • To participate in arrangements for the appraisal of students’ performance.
  • To provide guidance and advice to students on academic and social matters and on their further education and future careers.
  • To communicate, consult and co-operate with other members of the school staffü  To review and evaluate teachers’ teaching and learning strategies.
  • To maintain good order and discipline amongst students.
  • To participate in staff, group or other meetings related to the academics.
  • In the case of students with severe learning difficulties and/or with communication problems, ensure that a register (students complain or problem register) is daily updated with the necessary information including parents’ signature.
  • To ensure that teachers are making use of audio-visual technological devices (such as radio aids; projectors) and other adaptations during the delivery of the lessons.
  • To maintain discipline in accordance with the school procedures and encourage good students with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of class work and home work.
  • To mark and monitor students’ work and set targets for progress
  • To assess and record students’ progress systematically and keep record of every student.
  • To attend the training programmes (within school or out station) required by the School Management. 
  • To perform any other assignment given by the management like the duty of discipline Incharge, exam controller, re-checker, function coordinator, co-curricular in-charge, admission in-charge etc.
