• Responsible for overall Local Indirect Procurement results at Opco Level.
  • Managing the indirect related sourcing/ procurement including Media & marketing, Travel & Fleet, Logistics, etc.
  • Responsible for overall In-Direct procurement results and implementation, including compliance.
  • Well versed with the Sourcing strategies and hand on experience on the strategic sourcing.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of the Local categories strategy and aligned with the Global strategies.
  •  Clear understanding of PMP (Procurement Master Plan) development and its execution and monitoring. 
  • Well known to category management and support the Local Category managers in executing their activities. 
  • Handle the complex sourcing & negotiate and finalize the sourcing and contract.
  • Lead the process for selecting and developing effective and sustainable vendor relationships
  • Strong contract management skills to finalize the contracts with full Knowledge of the commercial terms, & associated contractual clauses.
  • Drive sourcing process for until contract signing (i.e. vendor selection and negotiation process).
  • Work closely with the Commercial, Admin, Security and other departments to understand the business requirements and Lead in the sourcing & procurement activities.
  • Understanding of the Budget process to actively take part from procurement to give the due inputs in preparation of the budgets.
  • Ability to handle the Sourcing Category leads team and assign the tasks to get the desired results.
  • Coach and mentor team; create opportunities for team members promote concept of empowerment. Communicate strategic issues to team; build commitment and confidence. Resolve complex system or process issue;
  • Having knowledge of the Oracle R12 procurement modules and can work in the End to End ERP environment.
  • Drive annual productivity improvements in each subcategory.
  • Capture savings – plan and track performance within category and define budgetary impact
  • Closely coordinate with End User departments.
  • Manage the measurement and tracking performance of KPIs – plan and track performance within each Local Indirect category.
