Job Duties (Work Responsibilities):
- Transportation Management
- Strong knowledge and Experience of transport industry and managing complete logistic & operations
- Experience in rate negotiation and competitive rate comparisons
- Ability to introduce new cost-efficient transport Cos.
- Verification of Transportation bills
- Monthly MIS preparation on transportation target achievement and economic freight arrangement
- Follow-up with transport contractors for ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials to assigned destinations / customers
- Coordinating with sales teams for effective material transportation and its delivery
- Coordinating with production and dispatch departments for timely dispatch
Inventory Management
- Monitor and control inventory levels at CFA to optimize costs while ensuring products are readily available to meet demand
- Monitor stock levels, reorder points and ensure accurate tracking of products
- Stock Ageing of Inventory across PAN India CFA and co-ordination with various department for liquidation
- Implement efficient processes to streamline order fulfilment operations
- Co-ordination for monthly stock count at CFA location
- Warehousing / CFA Management
- Co-ordination with CFA for day to day operations
- Oversee the efficient operation of warehouses / CFA including organizing storage, order picking and inventory tracking
- Continuously assess warehouse / CFA operations to identify areas for improvement
- Getting daily dispatch report from CFA
- Verification of CFA Bills
- Communications
- Attending to internal and external audits related to transportation and logistical operations
- Documentation for audit and leading the same
- Address issues such as inventory discrepancies, shipping delays and process bottlenecks promptly and effectively
