- Responsible for repair, maintenance and smooth operation of the central plant room equipment.
- Assisting Chief Engineer regarding POMC capital budget and goal achievements.
- Maintain & update maintenance record system on all preventive maintenance & repairs that have been carried out in the building & on all associated equipment.
- Report all faulty equipment that has been observed or reported and have it repaired immediately if necessary.
- Ensure that all licenses are complied with ad renewed in advance & safety rules & regulations are compiled with.
- Ensuring Fire & Safety codes to be complied with.
- Develop & maintain priority system for work orders to be carried out.
- Organize & maintain the crew to ensure that maintenance & repair work is carried out to obtain the best possible results & with only minimal overtime.
- Ensure correct time keeping of shift duty staff & make sure that the staffs abide by the company rules & regulations.
- Carry out regular inspections & reports the state of the buildings & equipment to Chief Engineer.
- Inspect & propose energy efficient solution to be implemented positively.
- Maintain good contact & support with government inspection officials.
- Supervise & control the works performed by outside contractors & their compliance with hotel standards.
- Follow up project independently & prepare reports for Chief Engineer’s study/approval.
- Assume special tasks assigned from time to time by Chief Engineer.
