Position: Technical Writing Intern

Summary:

We are looking for an imaginative and versatile writer to join our fast-paced, collaborative Digital Marketing Department, creating content for the purposes of content marketing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused and able to write compelling copy that is inspiring, supportive, informative, conversational and engaging - consistent with our company's voice and tone. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content marketing-oriented writing for their brands and/or businesses. This position will also be responsible for proofreading content for accuracy, consistency and style.

Job Responsibilities:

* Write effective Web content promoting company's products, services and brand promise

* Enhance existing Web pages to improve online experience for customers and prospects alike

* Proof existing content for accuracy, consistency and adherence to corporate style

* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, on brand and legally compliant

* Research digital marketing and related subjects for the purposes of learning, and subsequently producing high quality original content for the purposes of content marketing

Job Requirements:

* Strong understanding of the integrated digital experience - including awareness of content marketing, social media and customer experience

* Highly organized, efficient and willing to learn new things

* Strong customer focus

* Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborates with others to achieve team success

* Self-starter with great work ethic

* Ad copywriting experience is a plus

* Understanding of digital content marketing strategies (social media, blogging, SEO) is highly preferred

* Must demonstrate excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
