About us

Hisokakan Ventures is an umbrella group for several technology companies in Southeast Asia.
We have a remote team of developers working from Pakistan and are looking to expand the team.

About the job

This is a full time fixed salary position with a monthly salary. It is not a freelance job nor project-based work.
You will work remotely from home with own computer.
You will be working remotely with our team in Southeast Asia.
Work hours is Mondays to Fridays 7am-4pm (Pakistan time).
Perks include: annual leaves on confirmation, prayer times, no work during national holidays.

Job scope

Be part of cross-functional Agile Scrum teams to setup, maintain and fix issues on applications, mobile apps and CMS such as WordPress and Drupal based websites and systems.
Backend work includes installing and configuring CMS, creating custom themes from scratch based on designs given, develop custom modules, improve existing features, create new features, and fixing bugs.
Also includes cross-functional work such as frontend development (React based framework), QA testing on any code changes, and system administration (LAMP stack and cloud infrastructure). On-the-job training will be provided to achieve cross-functional responsibilities.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience.
Familiar with Agile Scrum framework and Jira.
Responsible person willing to play a key member in all areas of the cross-functional team, and eagle to self improve.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
