Chailogue is a multi cultural, vibrant community event space & cafe being run under the umbrella of HIVE Pakistan. We are looking for creative and motivated videographers who have a passion for editing media packages that have high impact and are social media savvy. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Record important events using camera, lighting, and audio equipment
2. Direct & capture specific action and events for the camera
3. Edit captured video to tell concise, visually pleasing stories
4. Keep all video and audio equipment in good working order, replacing pieces as necessary
5. Use keen attention to detail to make precise edits to captured video and stage beautiful scenes for filming purposes
6. Good computer skills to work with various video editing software programs
7. Responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for internal and external purposes.
8. Work with creative teammates
9. Regularly collaborate with marketing team
10. Follow the company's brand guidelines

HIVE is a first-of-its kind space in Pakistan – dedicated to training, research, resource development and social innovation to counter extremism and work towards an inclusive, peaceful society. Although for many years the brave citizens and civil society of Pakistan have been fighting to improve these conditions, their efforts unfortunately remain isolated, scattered, and often marginalized. There has as yet been no attempt to consolidate such work and collect it in a single place to provide a multi-purpose resource that could benefit all those linked to these issues. It was with this thought that Pakistan Youth Alliance (PYA) and Khudi Pakistan – two organisations that have been working tirelessly on counter-extremism and peace building throughout the country –teamed up to establish HIVE. MISSION To serve as a data resource for activists, practitioners, journalists, researchers and donor organizations To enhance the capacity of community-based organizations in Pakistan through training, networking and access to practical tools To incubate new ideas in the field of counter-extremism and peacebuilding, and to guide them through to implementation To build successful knowledge partnerships through a national network of counter-extremism experts and frontline workers To raise awareness, encourage conversation and foster debate on issues related to extremism and peace building within the general public, both online and offline
