JOB TITLE (ELECTRICIAN):
Seeking an Electrical Technician to support Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team at Islamabad and Faisalabad Station. The candidate will have experience as an electrical technician and the ability to troubleshoot GSE’s electrical faults with the use of his own skills, system documentation and electrical schematics.
CAPABILITIES / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Able to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to GSE (Ground Support Equipment) and other fleet vehicles
- Install, maintain, trouble shoot and repair Ground Support Equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
- Read, interpret technical manuals, electrical drawings, schematics and the electrical code specifications.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Should have knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
- Capable to diagnose faults, and repair equipment or vehicles individually.
QUALIFICATION:
- 3 years Auto Technician Diploma / Auto Mobile diploma
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience on airport equipment or automotive repair shop as electrician
- Knowledge in repair of heavy-duty diesel / automotive equipment
DUTIES:
- Inspect and rectify Electrical Breakdown on GSE’s and maintain them as per preventive maintenance schedule.
- Perform Daily Inspection of the GSE’s for any faults and verify DI check list
- Keep the GSE serviceable for Operation
- Control break down and make sure timely completion of defects.
- Install, maintain, trouble shoot and repair Ground Support Equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
- Read, interpret technical manuals, electrical drawings, schematics and the electrical code specifications.
