Senior Legal Manager (Capital Projects)

Reporting Line: Director / Head of Legal

Location: Lahore

Remuneration: PKR 300k+

Experience: 10+ years’ relevant experience, including with respect to real estate, land sale/purchase, REITs

Education: LLB mandatory + LLM (or equivalent) preferable

Responsibilities:

Manage compliance and control routines related to the company’s capital projects
Managing all aspects of the project portfolio, including ensuring all activities are in compliance with regulations, laws and constitutional documents
Shepherd multiple capital projects through the entire process, from incorporation to licensing and regulatory compliance
Cultivate and develop strong relationship with senior members of internal and external stakeholders
Work with team members or lead in product risk management projects from time to time through review of documentation or review of internal processes due to regulatory changes or implementation of new measures with clients/team due to compliance, audit or internal requirements
Review, draft and negotiate legal documentation with a view to safeguard company interests, legal liability while ensuring operational processes and procedures are captured accurately
Keep up-to-date on legal developments in the industry and maintain a strong understanding on all aspects of REITs
