About the Job

Senior Officer – Trade Finance will be responsible to manage Trade related activities and provide advisory.

Job Responsibilities

To perform day-to-day operational tasks of trade finance transactional processing, and Products.
Strong command over Foreign Exchange manual, UCP 600, and Trade Policy
To ensure compliance with guidelines and policies as documented in the Bank’s Manuals as well as external rules and regulations governing trade finance operations;
Working knowledge of various modules and system settings of GTS system.
Using various banking systems such as GTS, BANCS, etc. to process/handle daily transactions.
To maintain good relations with fellow colleagues with an emphasis on teamwork and fair dealing;
To provide trade finance-related support to Business Units RM;
To ensure that all legal requirements for bank guarantees are fulfilled before processing.
Responsible to strictly comply with AML/CFT regulations/guidelines in the day-to-day operations of the position, as per the defined policies of the Bank and SBP.

Job Specifications

Bachelor’s degree from a HEC-recognized university. A Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
2+ years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of FE manual, UCP 600, and Trade Policy. Communication Skills
Good communication skills in the English Language (Written and spoken).
Sound knowledge of remittances and foreign exchange transactions
Strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and SOPs
