About the Job:

Lead the cross-functional engineering team for server-side, Android application development, and Web frontend development. The role will be supported by the head of product management.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Lead and own all engineering efforts in the organization from requirements to production
Communicate with stakeholders, Tech Lead, Project & Product management; as well as QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and security personnel
Apply best practices for engineering processes, each platform and the tech team in general
Inspire a culture of coaching, learning, and improvement in the team

Qualifications and Skills

Hands on with MERN stack development and NestJS, NextJS frameworks
Good understanding of Reactive programming and declarative UI practices with state management
Expertise of NodeJS and Asynchronous code with event loop
Hands on with Android application development, Jetpack libraries and Compose
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Practical understanding of SOLID principles
Good knowledge of design patterns, especially MVC on NestJS and MVVM on Android

Education Requirement: No formal education is required, but a bachelor’s in computer science is a plus

Experience Requirement: At least 15 years or more, with at least 5 years in a similar role
