Summary of employer:

Hurak is a UK based company with a branch in Lahore, Pakistan. We are looking for a full-time front-end developer to work from our office in Lahore. Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience with the skills listed below.

Your primary focus will be the development of front-end modules in frontend frameworks like Bootstrap 4, VueJs.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 11:00 – 20:30 (including 45 minutes unpaid rest break)

Usual workdays: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities and Duties

Developing and redesigning applications frontend in Bootstrap 4
Develop responsive UIs for Desktop, Tablet, and Phone
Create high-performance UI on mobile and desktop * Coding tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Write and debug code that will work across different browser
Convert PSD to HTML

The successful candidate should:

have a minimum of 2 years of experience in frontend development of websites and apps
have BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field
have experience in Bootstrap 4, or ReactJs, AngularJs, Vuejs framework
have a proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 - have good HTML5, CSS3, knowledge
have proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
know how to use one or more of the following: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma
have a proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
have a good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them

Useful to have:

knowledge in backend programming languages (PHP) and frameworks such as Laravel
Knowledge of databases like MySQL
