Search Engine Optimizer / SEO Specialist

SEO Specialist required with at least 5 years of experience in on page and off page optimization. Ability to do keyword research and knowledge of keyword intent and types. Strong in technical SEO and extensive knowledge of technologies. Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization. Able to handle off page activities like Brand Mentions, Commenting, Forums, Influencer Outreach, Guest Author, Broken Link Building, Social Networking, Social Bookmarking etc.. A proven track record of ranking keywords in top SERPs. Working knowledge in the Middle East market is preferred but not required. Setting up goals in Analytics and event tracking using Google Tag manager with strong analytical skills. Working knowledge of the search console is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
Research and analyze competitor advertising links
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

Requirements:

Proven SEO experience
In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Extensive knowledge of past and current Google Algorithm update
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven fie
