Creative Content Writer / Medical Writer

We are looking for an experienced Medical content writer on full time basis, the Writer will generate engaging, vibrant content for a variety of healthcare-focused digital projects, including Websites, live video scripts, and slide sets. He or she will work closely with the team over the life of a project to ensure that deliverables are medically/scientifically accurate, rigorously supported by validated sources, and aligned with client objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Acquire a medical/scientific knowledge base for assigned project
Develop content that is scientifically and medically accurate, meets the stated strategic objectives of the project, is within job specifications as defined by the team/client, follows technical specifications, and is at the appropriate level and tone for the intended audience(s)
Source supporting references and annotate all pieces in accordance with client requirements
Work closely with a team to ensure accurate implementation of approved content
Provide QA oversight through all phases of content development, pre- and post-review and production
Continually communicate project status to internal stakeholders through various formal and informal mechanisms
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

Advanced scientific/medical degree or equivalent experience
Experience of working as a medical writer in skincare industry
Working knowledge of PubMed and other medical/scientific resources
High level of attention to detail, with excellent organizational/project management skills and a proven ability to multi-task
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills and extremely detail-oriented
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic environment, and to deliver high-quality products on time and on budget
Strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Web-based applications

Desired Skills and Experience

Strong knowledge of medical/legal/regulatory submission and review processes, including annotation of references in the requirements
Previous experience of developing impactful content for digital pieces such as websites, videos, and/or applications
Understanding of current medical aesthetics industry guidance and processes.
