Senior Accountant

IHB Accountants is UK based independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and we are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant in our Lahore office in Pakistan. Our clients range from smaller owner managed businesses through to large limited companies, as a result the role will offer an excellent opportunity to develop experience within an accounting practice.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role will involve the following:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of income tax, capital allowances and corporation tax computations
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Good use of excel software
Use of Accounting software like Taxcalc, Quickbooks SAGE etc

Skills and Qualities

To be considered for this position it is expected that the successful candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience working within with a UK based accountancy firm. Candidate must be an ACCA finalist or has completed his or her ACCA. You should have developed experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax computations with supervision and have a reasonable understanding of UK bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts and tax returns. Knowledge of Taxcalc, VT and QuickBooks is preferred.

Salary

Salary range depends upon experience but will start from Rs150,000 to Rs200,000.
