Senior Magento Developer

The primary requirement of the job will be to upgrade Magento 2 application(s) to their latest (stable) versions, keeping functionality of all free, paid and in-house developed extensions. That may require developing new modules / extensions as per requirements. Troubleshooting and fixing issues by maintaining the quality of application(s) is the key performing task. As a Magento Developer, you should be up-to-date with the latest IT developments and technologies

Designing and coding various Magento templates
Communicating with the team members to understand the website requirements
Developing, Migrating and testing Magento modules
Reviewing and troubleshooting any integration issues
Building and configuring Magento e-commerce websites
Performing website updates as and when required
Installing and updating security patches
Keeping up-to-date with PHP best practices
Inspecting and implementing front-end changes
Optimizing website’s loading time and performance
Installing, configuring, and testing payment extensions
Liaising with the Design team to develop website features
Conducting timely audits for various Magento websites
Work with Web-service APIs (RESTful, SOAP)
Import data from XML/CSV/JSON

Education:

Professional degree in Software Engineering / Development, Computer Science, or a relevant field

Skills:

Complete knowledge of Magento 2, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL
Familiarity with various UI/UX techniques and trend
Good time and project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented individual
Ability to work in a competitive environment
A team player as well as able to work independently
Ability to offer excellent customer experience
Magento certification is definitely a plus

Experience:

4+ years of experience programming in PHP
2+ years of Magento 2 programming
2+ years of Laravel framework programming
