You will be responsible for:

Conducting feasibility studies and designing underground mines
Selecting and supervising mining equipment and machinery and ensuring timely maintenance
Developing and implementing mining plans and schedules
Monitoring and controlling the quality and quantity of coal production
Evaluating and managing risks and impacts of mining activities on workers, communities and the environment and ensure foolproof security for all
Communicating and collaborating with available resources, land & forest authorities and other team members.

To be successful in this role, you will need and ensure:

A bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geology or a related field
A license or certification from a professional organization or a government agency
At least two years of experience in coal mining or related industries
Proficiency in computer-aided software and tools for mine design and analysis
Knowledge of coal mining methods, techniques and regulations
Skills in problem-solving, decision-making, project management and teamwork
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions
