Responsibilities:

Write complex stored procedures, triggers and functions in MS SQL 2008 and above.
Database design, with complete knowledge of RDBMS.
Performance tuning T-SQL code.
Follow standard software development life cycle methodologies.
Abide by coding standards, and recommend incremental enhancements where applicable.
Work independently and as a team member.
Define and document business requirements for verification from the offshore team and then document detail specifications for programming.
Handle multiple tasks and prioritize them with the input from management.
Liaise with senior management, software architects, business domain personnel and offshore team.
Provide client technical support when required.
Minimal DBA responsibilities.
