Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
User experience and user interface design for iplex clients, which includes:•
Creating and maintaining all user experience documentation (site maps, user flow documentation, wireframes, etc)
Creating customer-focused designs for both native, iOS apps and responsive/adaptive web engaging responsive/adaptive for all screen sizes
Leading grass roots usability studies or user testing
Designing and prototyping interfaces that are modern and fresh
Provide design support, and drive creative ideation and new ideas across the business
Stay abreast of evolving Industry, Device, and emerging Trends & Technologies
Mentor other junior designers - manage their performance and career development
Own small, medium and large projects across the business
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Interaction Design or related disciplines strongly preferred.
4+ years of Creative leadership in area of Digital, Mobile and/or UX/Product design.
6+ years of experience in Creative Design in area of Digital, Mobile and/or UX/Product
Design
Strong creative portfolio demonstrating examples applicable to digital Creative and
Mobile product design
Ability to consistently create visual solutions from initial concept through final completion.
Understanding of current UI standards for the web & mobile, including
adaptive/responsive web design.
Proficiency in Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite, and UI Protoyping software (such as Principal for Mac)
Preferred Skills:
Highly proactive, collaborative and self-motivated.
Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others.
Obsessively organized.
Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others.
Understanding of front-end development tools & techniques – HTML5, API, Media Queries, CSS, and JavaScript is a huge plus.
