We are looking for a skilled Telecom Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain software solutions for telecommunications systems. The Telecom Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability and efficiency of telecom software applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, telecommunications protocols and network technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain software applications for telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and video services.
  • Collaborate with system architects and engineers to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Implement and integrate telecom protocols and standards (e.g., SIP, RTP, VoIP) into software solutions.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms and data structures for efficient telecom processing and packet handling.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing and system testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues in telecommunications systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in telecommunications software development.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to other teams, including customer support and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on telecommunications.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications protocols and standards (e.g., SIP, RTP, VoIP, LTE).
  • Experience with telecom network architecture, including PSTN, IP networks and wireless networks.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills:

  • Proficient in software development for telecommunications systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Experience with telecom testing tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based telecom solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) is advantageous.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in telecom software development or related field.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Note: It’s an onsite job with Evening Shift.
