We are seeking an experienced Textile Designer who has creative flair and artistic ability, a good eye for colour, texture, fabrics, and patterns. Excellent attention to detail.an interest in fashion and textiles, and an understanding of trends and materials understanding and experience of using different textile processes and techniques.

Responsibilities:

Producing sketches and sample designs.
Using specialist computer software to assist with designs.
Attending and exhibiting designs at trade fairs.
Presenting designs and samples to customers for evaluation.
Negotiating contracts.
Keeping up to date with fashion and textile design trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in textile designing or related field.
5+ years design experience.
Excellent design and conceptual skills.
Availability to travel for research and product development.
Ability to do sketches by hand.
Excellent sense of style and colour.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
