Java Software Engineer - IT Sector

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Software Engineer with a strong academic background and solid technical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. This full-time, on-site role is based in Lahore or Faisalabad and offers the opportunity to engage in the complete software development lifecycle while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial design through to deployment.
- Assess technical aspects of assigned work to ensure quality and feasibility.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
- Manage and maintain stable continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain complex, high-volume codebases across various applications.
- Design and build web services and applications using modern development methodologies.
- Implement analytics and monitoring tools to track and optimize application performance.
- Analyze A/B test results to guide development and product decisions.
- Enhance projects by creating reusable components, automation tools, and improving documentation.
- Participate actively in development chapter meetings and contribute to team learning initiatives.
- Provide accurate effort estimations and contribute to planning discussions.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to support their professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of one year of practical experience in the IT industry, with proficiency in Java and familiarity with multiple programming languages.
- Working knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of effective collaboration across diverse teams.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently with accountability.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to perform well in a fast-moving work environment.
