A Distribution company looking to hire Junior Accountant.

Job Description:

Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
Managing petty cash transactions.
Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.
Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements.
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Assist with other accounting projects.
Any task assigned by the management.

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
Working Knowledge in computer application & computer based accounting ERP.
Command on MS Office - Specially MS Excel (Accounting Formulas)

Experience:

2 to 3 Years working experience in the field of accounting.
