Position Summary:

IT System Administrator is responsible for the operations, change management and service levels of the infrastructure. The scope of this position includes the deployment and maintenance of the technology standards and processes to be used in the infrastructure area. It also includes working on IT related projects

The IT System Administrator reports to the Operations Manager.

Position Duties / Responsibilities:

Administer key platforms/systems/operating environments: VMWare, Zerto, Windows, DNS, Solaris, Unix, Oracle, Linux, etc
Perform Patch Management; Workstations, Servers, Appliances, third-party apps.
Maintain corporate infrastructure procedures, documentation and technology standards, implementation and operation of IT platforms & communication systems including applicable IT processes for the company’s Business Continuity Plan / Disaster Recovery.
Monitor Key Infrastructure
Provide technical support of infrastructure such as VMware, Servers, e-mail, anti-virus
Performs backups and restores on all systems/servers in accordance to established procedures and best practices
Provide Technical Support to complex IT Issues
Maintain Life Cycle Asset Management and create reports on assets status
Create and maintain documentation as needed and consolidate asset inventory
Responsible for managing third party inventory
Other duties as assigned or requested by immediate supervisor

Specialized Knowledge:

Knowledge and experience developing enterprise digital architectures for Private Banking and/or Wealth Management is highly desired
Experience with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VMWare
Experience in Active Directory Administration
Experience in Asset Control and SIEM
Strong experience with instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and responding relative to performance and availability of environments
Ability to write PowerShell scripts to automate IT Operations
Hands-on experience with CMDB, preferably Service Now
Knowledge of networking principles
Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly to ensure our business operations run smoothly
Install all new technology for the company or for new hires including computer operating systems, software programs and applications.
Advanced knowledge on softwares we currently use (Slack, Attlasian Suite, Visual Studio)
Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently
Basic programming skills
Manage off boarding of terminated employees by removing access on emails and other apps in use by the user.
Independently analyze, solve, and correct technical challenges in real time, providing problem solving to clients
Provide IT support and assistance and troubleshooting, for technical challenges
SQL performance review with the following tools:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering required, masters or higher preferred.
