Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to support the daily operations of our Human Capital function. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative assistance, facilitating employee onboarding, and supporting payroll and leave management processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth HR operations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day activities of the HR department, ensuring efficient and timely execution of HR functions.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Human Capital team, including documentation, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Assist in the orientation process for new employees and trainees, helping them integrate smoothly into the organization.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to prepare monthly payroll data and maintain accurate headcount records.
- Manage leave administration, including processing leave requests and facilitating annual leave encashment procedures.
- Oversee staff exit formalities, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are completed for departing employees.
- Prepare and issue employment letters, contracts, and other official HR documentation as required.
- Conduct reference checks for prospective employees to verify background and qualifications.
- Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by management to support HR initiatives and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or HR support role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and management.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes, leave management, and employment documentation.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with HR information systems is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with discretion.
