Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to oversee educational initiatives within refugee village and ALP schools. The successful candidate will ensure seamless coordination between project teams, community stakeholders, and donors, aligning activities with educational policies and local needs. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities with key stakeholders, including community leaders, parents, and local authorities, to ensure alignment with educational policies and address community-specific needs.
- Engage actively with community members and stakeholders to build support, address concerns, and foster collaboration.
- Develop and implement detailed monthly activity plans, efficiently deploying the team for field visits and project execution.
- Encourage team participation and ensure all activities comply with donor requirements and project objectives.
- Facilitate monitoring visits from donors and partners by providing timely information, progress updates, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and realign activities with project goals.
- Coordinate closely with head teachers of refugee village schools and ALP schools to identify and address educational needs effectively.
- Supervise field education officers, ensuring adherence to project plans, guidelines, and quality standards.
- Organize and lead meetings with community members, teachers, and Parent-Teacher Committees to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and resolve enrollment issues.
- Ensure accurate collection, verification, and timely submission of field data to support monitoring and evaluation efforts.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess project progress, provide support to schools, and review implementation strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records to uphold transparency, accountability, and facilitate reporting.
- Prepare and submit detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports outlining activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within the education sector or community development projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse groups.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills, ensuring clear and concise communication of project progress.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to data management, reporting, and communication.
