Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures that support integrated systems across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building complex data solutions, managing data flows, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in cloud platforms—especially Azure—and a deep understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement robust data architectures that are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance across integrated systems. Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data models that align closely with evolving business goals. Create and manage data flow frameworks to enable seamless integration between applications, databases, and cloud platforms.

Define, enforce, and continuously improve data architecture standards, best practices, and governance policies to ensure consistency and compliance. Oversee data import and export processes involving various source systems and APIs, guaranteeing data accuracy and reliability.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and translate data requirements into effective technical solutions. Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to enhance system performance and reliability. Maintain a strong focus on data security, compliance, and integrity throughout all systems.

Required Qualifications
Proven expertise in Azure cloud services, data modeling, governance, and integration is essential. Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership skills with experience managing teams and serving as a technical coach.

Hands-on experience designing and building complex solutions that collect, process, store, and analyze large volumes of critical business data. Familiarity with Big Data distributed systems such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and AWS EMR is required.

Strong background in developing both multidimensional and tabular data models involving large, complex datasets. Experience in an Architect role with responsibilities for designing, modeling, and constructing complex data solutions.

Proficiency in developing data pipelines using PySpark and ETL tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Talend. Advanced skills in Python and SQL are mandatory.

Solid understanding of data modeling principles, ETL processes, and best practices in data warehousing. Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality tools, and data security/privacy measures is critical.

Experience facilitating knowledge transfer and training programs, along with familiarity with agile delivery methodologies, proof of concepts, and prototyping.

Hands-on experience with Azure ARM templates, PowerShell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping to support technical design and construction of data flows.

Strong communication skills to facilitate design discussions and articulate architectural decisions clearly. Ability to research and address client inquiries related to regulations, industry practices, and emerging application technologies.
