Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solar Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing solar energy systems with a strong emphasis on both electrical and mechanical components. This role requires proficiency in specialized solar design software and the ability to prepare detailed project documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering efficient, cost-effective solar solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive solar energy systems, focusing on the integration of electrical and mechanical elements to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Utilize advanced solar design software tools such as Helioscope, SketchUp, and PVSyst to create accurate and efficient system layouts and simulations. These tools will aid in optimizing system design to maximize energy production and cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for solar projects, ensuring all materials, components, and labor requirements are accurately documented.
- Conduct thorough costing and budgeting exercises for solar projects, providing precise financial estimates to support project planning and execution.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet technical requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and stay informed about the latest advancements in solar technology and design software to enhance project outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and developing solar energy systems, with a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical system components.
- Proficiency in solar design software, specifically Helioscope, SketchUp, and PVSyst, with demonstrated ability to produce detailed and accurate system designs.
- Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and conducting cost analysis for solar projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
