Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to manage the supply, installation, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and related data center equipment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in integrating new hardware with existing systems, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to international best practices. This position demands a commitment to delivering high-quality services within agreed timelines and budgets, as well as providing maintenance and support throughout the warranty period.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end process of supplying, installing, configuring, and testing Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) systems, UPS units, and associated data center equipment.
- Ensure the successful integration of newly installed hardware with the organization’s existing IT infrastructure, maintaining system compatibility and performance.
- Apply internationally recognized best practices and standards to deliver services efficiently, meeting established timeframes, cost constraints, and quality benchmarks.
- Provide comprehensive maintenance and support services during the warranty period, promptly addressing any issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate installation schedules, troubleshoot technical challenges, and optimize system performance.
- Document installation procedures, configurations, and support activities to maintain accurate records and facilitate future maintenance efforts.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary to enhance data center reliability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in the supply, installation, configuration, and support of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems within data center environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of data center hardware and infrastructure components, including integration techniques and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with international best practices and standards related to IT infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
- Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring delivery within specified time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.
