Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced YouTube video editor to join our team and bring our automation-style content to life. This role focuses on editing videos between 8 to 20 minutes, covering topics such as AI, money-making strategies, and digital tools. The editing style and pacing should align with popular channels like Digital Income Project, 10x Income, HowToAI Tutorials, and AI Guy. This is a long-term, part-time or internship opportunity with regular weekly projects, aimed at scaling a faceless YouTube channel to new levels of success.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for editing engaging and visually dynamic YouTube automation videos. This involves transforming scripts and voiceovers into compelling content by incorporating relevant visuals, animations, and B-roll footage, while avoiding overused stock clips. Sound design plays a crucial role, so you will apply sound effects (SFX) and music strategically to enhance the flow and keep viewers engaged. Proficiency in editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar tools is essential.

Understanding YouTube’s algorithm and retention strategies is key to maximizing watch time, so you will implement pacing and editing techniques that align with these goals. Meeting deadlines consistently and maintaining clear communication within the team are also vital aspects of this role.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience editing YouTube automation-style videos. A strong grasp of YouTube’s algorithm and retention tactics is necessary to create content that performs well. You should be skilled in sound design, including integrating SFX and music to boost engagement. The ability to source and incorporate relevant visuals, animations, and B-roll beyond generic stock footage is essential.

Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut is required. You must be able to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Effective communication skills and a willingness to participate in team calls and feedback sessions are also important.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience editing content in niches like AI, technology, or finance is a strong advantage. Familiarity with on-screen graphics and motion elements that help increase watch time will be beneficial. Knowledge of rehook strategies and YouTube retention analytics to optimize video performance is a plus.

This position offers a long-term contract opportunity (12 months) with a consistent workflow. Compensation is Rs30,000.00 per month.

Please note that candidates who do not understand YouTube automation content, rely heavily on stock footage or cookie-cutter templates, or are unwilling to collaborate and engage in feedback cycles should not apply.
