Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Video Editor with a strong creative vision and extensive experience in crafting high-impact video advertisements specifically for mobile games. In this role, you will work closely with marketing strategists, motion designers, and user acquisition managers to produce engaging, performance-driven video creatives. These videos will target gaming audiences across platforms such as Meta and TikTok, with the primary goal of driving user engagement and increasing installs. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering visually compelling content that aligns with strategic marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for editing dynamic, fast-paced video ads tailored to promote mobile games effectively. This involves combining gameplay footage with motion graphics, visual effects, text overlays, and sound elements to maximize ad performance. You will lead brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas for ad variations and A/B testing to optimize results. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with designers and producers to take concepts from storyboard through to final export.
Additionally, you will apply mobile marketing best practices to improve user retention and installation rates. Maintaining well-organized project files and asset libraries is essential to ensure smooth version control and efficient revisions. You will also analyze creative performance metrics regularly to refine and enhance future video outputs, ensuring continuous improvement in campaign effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of professional video editing experience, with at least 2 years focused on game advertisements or mobile marketing campaigns. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential, while knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is considered an advantage. Strong storytelling skills are critical, particularly for short-form ads ranging from 10 to 30 seconds, where concise and impactful narratives are key.
A deep understanding of mobile gaming audiences, current trends, and the visual language that resonates with them is required. Experience in adjusting aspect ratios for various platforms—including 1:1, 9:16, and 16:9 formats—is necessary to ensure content is optimized for each channel. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, is also vital for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with sound design or basic audio mixing will be considered a plus. A portfolio showcasing mobile game advertisements, especially those that demonstrate performance-driven results, will be highly valued. Additional skills such as directing gameplay captures and scripting trailers or walkthrough videos are desirable and will set candidates apart.
Candidates from BNU are highly preferred. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs150,000 to Rs200,000.
