Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team, responsible for safeguarding company assets through strict adherence to internal control procedures and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in verifying sales documentation, auditing financial records, and conducting regular physical inventory checks. This position requires a strong focus on accuracy, analytical skills, and effective communication to ensure all audit findings are thoroughly documented and discussed with relevant departments. The role is based near Youhanabad, Ferozepur Road, Lahore, and offers a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure company assets are protected by enforcing compliance with internal control policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough verification of sales documents to confirm adherence to established documentation trails.
- Audit transport bills by cross-referencing them with cash book entries to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Monitor and verify the consumption of stores and spare parts to maintain inventory integrity.
- Perform weekly physical verification of various technical store items to ensure stock accuracy.
- Carry out monthly physical counts of all raw materials and ingredients directly involved in the manufacturing process.
- Validate daily production and sales data against ERP system records to maintain data consistency and reliability.
- Prepare detailed special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational data and trends.
- Communicate audit findings effectively through comprehensive reports and discussions with department heads to facilitate corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) is required.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACMA or CMA is mandatory.
- Male candidates only.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal audit, preferably within manufacturing or technical sectors.
- Proficiency in both English and Urdu languages is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is advantageous.
