Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled dental professional to join our team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients’ dental health, performing routine cleanings, managing complex dental procedures, and working closely with dental assistants to provide exceptional dental care. This role involves direct patient interaction and a strong commitment to enhancing oral health through both preventative and corrective treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to understand dental concerns and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving dental hygiene and overall oral health.
- Perform routine dental cleanings and preventative procedures to maintain patients’ oral wellness.
- Execute a variety of dental treatments including extractions, root canal therapy, cavity fillings, and correction of bite issues or overcrowding.
- Apply dental agents such as sealants and whitening products to improve dental health and aesthetics.
- Prescribe necessary medications, including pain relievers and antibiotics, to effectively manage dental conditions.
- Administer sedatives or anesthesia when required prior to dental procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays and dental models to guide accurate treatment planning.
- Utilize dental instruments including drills, probes, brushes, and mirrors to examine and treat patients with precision.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records documenting oral health status, treatments performed, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with dental assistants and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid license from the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- 1 to 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a dental practice setting.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs120,000. The role requires on-site presence to ensure hands-on patient care and effective team collaboration.
