Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team at our DHA Head Office (Badar Commercial). This entry-level role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support, focusing on troubleshooting networking, hardware, and software issues. Additionally, the role involves monitoring CCTV footage for employee activity verification, product return validation, and identifying suspicious behavior. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop a strong foundation in IT support while contributing to the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees through various channels including in-person, email, and phone, addressing issues related to networking, hardware, software, and system troubleshooting.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine system checks to detect and resolve potential issues or vulnerabilities proactively.
- Monitor CCTV footage regularly to oversee employee activity, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Investigate suspicious activities identified via CCTV and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve security concerns.
- Verify product returns by cross-referencing data and performing thorough inspections to ensure compliance with return policies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
- Work closely with the IT team to address complex technical problems and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to networking, hardware, software, and security monitoring.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in IT support or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Solid understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Familiarity with system hardware components and their functions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software and system issues across operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux, including applications and hardware peripherals.
- Ability to analyze CCTV footage effectively to identify and report suspicious activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical information to non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with POS ERP systems is preferred.
- Working hours are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
