Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team full-time at our office located in Phase 7, Phase 2 Commercial Area of Defence Housing Authority, Karachi. This onsite role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs200,000 to Rs350,000. The ideal candidate will bring over four years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business analysis, or financial reporting. A strong analytical mindset is essential to interpret complex financial and operational data effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost variance analysis are critical for success in this position. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze complex financial and operational datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights that drive business improvements. Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and cost variance reports to support planning and control processes. Utilize advanced Excel functionalities such as pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas (e.g., INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP) to manipulate and analyze data efficiently. Ensure data integrity by applying ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes across multiple systems, maintaining accuracy and consistency. Conduct margin analysis, working capital optimization, and cost driver analysis to enhance financial planning and operational efficiency. Collaborate with various departments to translate financial insights into clear, understandable presentations for non-financial stakeholders. Use ERP and reporting tools like Intacct and Power BI to generate timely and accurate financial reports. Maintain meticulous attention to detail to identify trends, irregularities, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of four years of professional experience in FP&A, business analysis, or financial reporting roles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including expertise with pivot tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas such as INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, and XLOOKUP. A solid understanding of key financial concepts, including margin analysis, working capital management, and cost analysis, is required. Experience with ETL processes and maintaining data integrity across multiple platforms is necessary. Excellent communication and presentation skills are vital to effectively convey complex financial data to non-financial audiences. Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and contribute meaningfully to data-driven decision-making is expected. Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools such as Intacct and Power BI is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role. Experience with additional reporting tools such as Tableau or SQL-based platforms will be considered an advantage.
