Microsoft Power BI Fabric Consultant & MCT Trainer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Power BI Fabric (Synapse) Consultant and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This role uniquely combines training delivery (60%) with consulting (40%), focusing on Microsoft’s Modern Analytics ecosystem, including Power BI, Power Platform, and the broader Data, Analytics, and AI landscape. The successful candidate will empower both enterprise clients and internal teams by providing expert training and strategic consulting, helping organizations leverage Microsoft technologies to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Training (60%)
You will lead the delivery of Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) and tailored training sessions on Power BI, Microsoft Fabric (Synapse), and Power Platform. Your role involves guiding learners through Microsoft’s Data, Analytics, and AI Learning Plan, with a strong emphasis on Modern Analytics using Power BI. You will facilitate hands-on labs and real-world scenarios designed to prepare participants for certification and practical application.

Developing and delivering use case-driven training modules will be a core part of your responsibilities. These modules will cover areas such as financial dashboards, sales and marketing analytics, inventory and supply chain reporting, executive KPI scorecards, and operational performance monitoring. You will also customize training content to meet industry-specific requirements and business contexts. Staying current with Microsoft product updates, certifications, and learning resources is essential to maintain the highest training standards.

Consulting (40%)
In the consulting capacity, you will design and implement comprehensive data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric technologies, including Synapse Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Real-Time Analytics. You will build scalable Power BI reports and dashboards, applying best practices in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query to ensure optimal performance and usability.

Your expertise will also be critical in providing strategic advice on data governance, security, and performance optimization. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, you will translate complex requirements into actionable analytics solutions that drive business value.

Required Qualifications
- Active Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) status.
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate and/or Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate certification.
- Proven expertise in Modern Analytics with Power BI, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
- Experience working with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preferred candidates will have familiarity with Microsoft’s resources for Modern Analytics with Power BI and the broader Microsoft Learn ecosystem. Experience integrating Git with Power BI and Fabric, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Purview and data governance frameworks, is highly valued. Industry-specific analytics experience—particularly in healthcare, finance, or manufacturing—is a plus. Additionally, experience delivering both virtual and in-person training sessions will be advantageous.
