Job Summary
Anemoia is looking for a Junior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our Wah Cantt team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, scalable fintech solutions by ensuring our applications meet stringent quality and performance standards. You will work closely with the development team to design and execute comprehensive test cases, perform API testing, and efficiently identify and resolve software defects. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and executing well-structured test cases that validate the functionality of our applications. A significant part of your role will involve performing API testing and automation using Postman to verify seamless integration and optimal performance. You will conduct thorough root cause analysis for any defects discovered, reporting bugs clearly and comprehensively to facilitate quick resolution.

In addition, you will log, track, and retest bugs with detailed documentation to support continuous improvement efforts. A solid understanding and application of software testing fundamentals—including Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), various test types, and the bug lifecycle—are essential. You will collaborate with the team during build and release cycles, effectively using version control systems to support smooth deployments.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are crucial, as you will need to diagnose and resolve issues promptly to maintain product quality. Your ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be key to your success in this role.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have between six months to one year of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You must demonstrate proficiency in designing and maintaining detailed test cases. Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and automation is required.

You should be capable of performing root cause analysis and communicating bug reports in a clear and concise manner. Familiarity with the software development and testing life cycles (SDLC, STLC) is necessary, along with experience in bug tracking, logging, and retesting processes.

An understanding of build and release cycles, as well as version control systems, is important. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, combined with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset, will help you thrive in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with at least one year of experience working with Postman will have an advantage. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Wah Cantt. Applicants should be able to commute reliably or be willing to relocate; employer-provided relocation assistance is preferred.
