Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our Software Engineering team at our Lahore office located in DHA Phase 3. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in object-oriented programming, embedded systems, and the Qt framework. Proficiency in C++ and C is essential, particularly in environments where efficient memory and resource management are critical. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller programming is required to develop reliable, time-sensitive embedded applications, primarily for medical or industrial devices.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions tailored for medical or industrial device applications. You will work extensively with real-time operating systems to ensure that applications perform reliably under strict timing constraints. Programming and debugging firmware for microcontrollers using C and C++ will be a core part of your role.

You will also develop and troubleshoot custom driver interfaces and collaborate closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration between software and physical components. Implementing and debugging communication protocols such as USB, UART, SPI, and I2C will be essential to your daily tasks.

Maintaining high standards of code reliability, efficiency, and maintainability is critical, especially given the resource-constrained nature of embedded environments. Thorough documentation of design specifications, codebases, and development procedures will also be expected to support ongoing maintenance and team collaboration.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field is mandatory. Candidates should have between 1 to 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development. Strong proficiency in C++ and C programming languages is essential, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) is required, as is hands-on experience with microcontroller programming and firmware development. These skills are critical for developing dependable and efficient embedded applications.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with the Qt framework for GUI or cross-platform application development is highly desirable. Experience with popular microcontroller platforms such as STM32, PIC, or similar architectures will be considered a strong advantage.

Knowledge of communication protocols including USB, UART, SPI, and I2C is preferred, along with proficiency in low-level debugging and troubleshooting tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore, offering a competitive salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs150,000 per month.
