Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented mid-level Content Writer with 2 to 4 years of experience specializing in technical and product content writing. This full-time remote role is perfect for professionals with a strong grasp of technical language and a passion for crafting high-quality product listings, specifically within the HORECA and commercial kitchen equipment sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and refining product content, collaborating closely with the Content Manager, and mentoring junior writers to maintain consistency and quality across various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop clear, technically accurate product descriptions that comprehensively cover specifications, features, benefits, and compliance details. You will work alongside the Content Manager to ensure content strategy, priorities, and publishing schedules are well-aligned. A critical part of your role will involve reviewing and editing content produced by junior writers, ensuring originality, accuracy, and strict adherence to the brand voice. It is essential that all content is free from AI-generated text and plagiarism.
You will also cross-check image creatives to verify they accurately represent product attributes and descriptions. Validating product listings on the internal content publishing platform for completeness and accuracy is another key responsibility. Maintaining a consistent tone, structure, and formatting across product pages and eCommerce platforms is vital to uphold brand standards.
Additionally, you will verify product data against supplier documents and technical sheets before publication to ensure technical accuracy. Keeping the Daily Task Sheet updated regularly will help track progress and meet deadlines efficiently. Providing constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members and interns is an important part of fostering a high-performing content team. Lastly, you will actively participate in team discussions aimed at improving content workflows and publishing standards.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience in technical content writing, ideally within product-heavy or eCommerce environments. A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field is required. You must demonstrate a strong ability to translate complex technical specifications into clear, user-friendly content.
Excellent command of English writing, grammar, and proofreading skills is essential. High attention to detail, particularly regarding technical accuracy and brand consistency, is critical. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is expected, along with experience working with internal CMS or content publishing platforms.
Familiarity with product specification validation, content quality assurance, and creative review processes is necessary. The ability to mentor and support junior writers while maintaining high editorial standards is also required. Candidates must have a reliable home office setup, including high-speed internet, power backup, a suitable laptop or desktop, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
Compensation and Work Details
This is a full-time remote position offering a salary range of AED 600 to AED 1,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skills. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and a minimum of two years’ experience in content writing and eCommerce is required.
