Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Currency Exchange Officer based in Gujrat to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service by welcoming clients at the counter, addressing their inquiries, and conducting currency exchange transactions with precision and professionalism. This position demands strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to securely handle financial transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
The Currency Exchange Officer will be responsible for providing a positive and efficient customer experience at the designated counter. This includes greeting customers warmly and assisting them throughout their currency exchange process. The officer will respond promptly to customer inquiries, offering accurate and current information about currency exchange rates and procedures.

A key part of the role involves negotiating exchange rates with customers to ensure competitive and fair deals. The officer must collect and verify all necessary transaction details from customers to maintain accuracy and compliance. Before finalizing any transaction, the officer will confirm the agreed rates with the branch In-charge or Manager.

Security and fraud prevention are critical components of this role. The officer is expected to identify counterfeit or obsolete currency notes before completing any transaction, thereby safeguarding the organization and its clients. Additionally, the officer will prepare remittance payment and receipt vouchers with accuracy and handle the receipt and payment of currency notes, ensuring that all amounts processed are correct and properly documented.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have completed an intermediate level of education, such as F.A, F.Sc, I.Com, ICS, or D.Com. While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred, fresh candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow in this field are encouraged to apply.

Job Details
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gujrat. The salary range for this role is between Rs40,000 and Rs45,000 per month, reflecting the importance of the responsibilities and the skills required.
