Laboratory Phlebotomist/Receptionist

Job Summary
We are looking for a committed and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Karachi on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in collecting blood samples for diagnostic testing and donation, ensuring specimens are handled and labeled correctly, and maintaining accurate patient records within our database system. This position requires close collaboration with both technical laboratory personnel and medical staff to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of our clinical laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Phlebotomist is to collect blood samples from patients safely and accurately, following established clinical protocols. This includes proper handling, labeling, and preparation of specimens to maintain sample integrity and patient safety. The role also involves entering and updating patient information meticulously into the laboratory’s electronic database to ensure data accuracy and traceability.

In addition to sample collection, the Phlebotomist will coordinate daily laboratory activities to support workflow efficiency. This coordination helps facilitate timely processing of samples and effective communication between the technical team—such as laboratory technicians and technologists—and medical staff, including nurses and doctors. Providing reliable and prompt sample collection and data management services is essential to support diagnostic and treatment processes.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in phlebotomy or a related clinical laboratory role, demonstrating proficiency in blood collection techniques and specimen handling procedures.
