Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Technical Sales Officer is to promote and sell fertilizers and agricultural inputs to farmers and agro-dealers within the assigned territory. This involves conducting regular field visits to demonstrate proper product usage and highlight the advantages of the company’s offerings. The officer will organize and lead farmer meetings, field trials, and product demonstrations to increase product visibility and educate customers on best agricultural practices.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and distributors is vital for sustained business growth. The role requires providing ongoing technical support related to crop nutrition, soil health, and the correct application of fertilizers to ensure customers maximize their yields and product satisfaction.

Achieving monthly and annual sales targets is a key performance indicator, requiring proactive engagement and follow-up with clients. Additionally, the officer will gather market intelligence by monitoring competitor activities, pricing strategies, and collecting customer feedback to inform company strategies.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a closely related field. A background of 1 to 3 years in sales or field roles within the agriculture or fertilizer industry is necessary to ensure familiarity with the market and technical aspects of the products.

Strong technical knowledge of fertilizers, soil health, and crop management practices is critical to provide credible agronomic advice and support. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including farmers, dealers, and distributors.

The role demands a willingness to travel extensively in rural areas to conduct field visits and support activities. Candidates should be capable of working independently, managing their time efficiently, and handling field responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: Rs45,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
Work Location: On-site, with extensive travel in rural territories
