Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Payroll and Accounting Officer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. Key Responsibilities
The Payroll and Accounting Officer will be responsible for preparing and managing the monthly payroll process, ensuring that salary payments are accurate and made on time. Maintaining and updating employee salary records, including all deductions and allowances, is a critical part of this role. The candidate will also handle general accounting tasks such as data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Additionally, the role requires preparing and maintaining financial reports, ledgers, and balance sheets to promote financial transparency within the organization. Monitoring accounts payable and receivable is essential to ensure accuracy and timely processing of transactions. The officer will assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, helping to ensure smooth financial operations.
Compliance with established financial policies and procedures is mandatory to uphold regulatory standards. The role also involves advanced use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling. Effective coordination with internal departments and external auditors is necessary to support audit processes and financial reviews.
Required Qualifications
